This is our 9th training and riding trip to Cape Hatteras in North Carolina and I've been able to get one of my/our favorite houses on the entire island. It's right on the sound with grass rigging, launching and landing right on the waters edge. Stoked? I hope so.
See below for more info on the house.

We are now back ON the water with this house. Sound front instead of Sound side.
As always, this trip fills up fast even without any advertising and this year is no exception. We're already more than 3/4's full due to rooms being taken with riders from past trips and by other riders via word of mouth.

The dates are Oct 11th - Oct 25th for 14 full days or riding, training and fun. Most riders pick week 1 or week 2.

Week 1 = Oct 11th - Oct 18th (Check in day is Oct 11th, Checkout day is Oct 18th). Sat - Sat.
Week 2 = Oct 18th - Oct 25th (Check in day is Oct 18th, Checkout day is Oct 25th). Sat - Sat.

Week 1: One King room open and a few bunks open.
Week 2: King rooms are full. Only bunks are still open.

DETAILS:

HOUSE PRICING:

Contact me via email and I'll send you pricing info.

CONDO / HOUSE AND WINDS:

4) We are staying in a new house right on the Pamlico Sound. Centrally located in the tri-city area and near some of the best riding spots on the Pamlico Sound and Ocean. It has 6 bedrooms total with 5 of them being king (Master) bedrooms and even has a pool table, gear storage area, a pool and of course wireless internet. The house also has many upgrades including stainless steel appliances and big flat screen TV's in most every room. HBO, Showtime, Cinemax and Netflix are all part of the package.
Of course wireless internet is included.

The Pamlico Sound is well known for some of the best flat water riding in the country and miles and miles of shallow - knee to waist deep water.
Cape Hatteras is also known for its many downwinder sessions on the sound or ocean. We'll take you to some great riding spots on either the ocean or sound side depending on wind directions and riders' abilities, etc.
For ocean riding, there are 50-60 miles of coast line to pick and choose from depending on wind direction. Cape Hatteras has a lot to offer riders of all abilities.
October is usually a great month for winds. Be prepared for mostly cool to warm temps, but it could get chili. Bring every size kite, board, wet suit, etc. if you have your own gear.

GEAR:

Demo and Rental policy

5) I'll have a great selection of demo kites and boards packed and ready to use for demos and rental and for training.

As above for house/room pricing, contact me direct for more info with respect to rentals, etc.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEE FOR STUDENTS AND GUESTS:

If at the end of the trip your expectations were not met, we'll make things right. Those who know me and Kiteriders will attest that we'll do what is needed to make sure all students and guests are satisfied with the results and efforts.

THE FUN FACTOR:

The goal is for everyone to have a great time, meet new friends and talk about the days awesome sessions while chilling over some beers and food in the hot tub, etc. We're all there to do our part to make sure everyone chips in when needed so the Karma gods are with us at all times.
Everyone is there to learn and ride and enjoy each others company and share stories and any good crashes.

FINAL NOTES AND DUE DATES:

*** Final decisions should be made no later than Tuesday, September 2nd
*** Prices will rise after the 7th of September for those not confirmed.
*** Payments due asap in full by Saturday, Saturday 6th. I prefer a check, Dwolla.com, cashiers check or money order by the 11th of September. Credit cards are also accepted, but will need to add a 3% credit card fee for processing.
*** For those who are flying, you can fly into Norfolk, VA. or other nearby airports such as Newport News, and Washington DC. It's about 2.5 to 3 hours to Cape Hatteras fromNorfolk, VA.
*** If driving, let me know if there are opportunities to car pool.

I'll do my best to answer your questions that come up, so please let me know asap if you can join us this year in OBX.
