Looks like the local weather stations pulled one over on me/us today.
I had a very sleepless night Saturday evening thinking about the severe storms. They make it sound like a good chance of severe to very severe weather.
So going to Waubesa first was a huge mistake (SSE and it just didn't want to go S) and we wasted about an hour and half of good training winds and riding winds. Nelson was the call early, but then a small front came through and shut everything down for quite a while. Glad to get one student out today at Nelson. Later afternoon after no wind for a long while, most everyone headed to Waubesa and it BLEW. Overpowered 10m winds.
Strange day and glad the storms never materialized and the huge front that was down in Missouri completely dissolved for the most part.
I guess having them be wrong was still a good thing in the long run for us.
